What the client needed

The previous space, with ageing equipment and safety concerns, has been revitalised into a vibrant, family-friendly destination—perfect for gatherings, outdoor fun, and community connection. The transformation is completed with the addition of a new turf area and tree plantings, creating a greener, more inviting space that blends beautifully with the surrounding environment.

What we delivered

New play features include a multi-play unit with a 4.8-metre lookout tower offering Melbourne city views. Nature play elements bring imagination to life with horizontal natural log features and detailed animal sculptures, including a Tawny Frogmouth and a possum. Park amenities have been upgraded to include picnic settings, park seats, platform benches, and a drinking fountain, offering comfort and convenience for visitors. Surfacing upgrades throughout the reserve include concrete and bluestone paving, rubber impact areas, and softfall mulch, enhancing both safety and aesthetics.
