Project Overview

Delivered in two phases, the project transformed the reserve into a district-level recreational destination through the construction of a new playground, upgrades to the existing skate park, and minor refurbishments to the BMX track.

Community Skatepark Upgrade

Yellowstone Resource Group was pleased to deliver the Pearcedale Recreation Reserve Skatepark and Playspace Upgrade for the City of Casey, a project jointly funded by Council and the Victorian State Government.

What we delivered

Construction commenced with the skate park works, undertaken in collaboration with a specialist skate park designer and construction contractor to ensure a high-quality outcome for users of all skill levels.

The new playspace features a modern play unit, swings, a trampoline, and an outdoor fitness station. Additional play elements include musical stepping stones, a bumblebee musical feature, a log trail, and imaginative play experiences such as a mushroom house.

Supporting park amenities installed as part of the project include seating with backrests and armrests, bench seating, bicycle hoops, a shelter, drinking fountain, barbecue facilities, and new boundary fencing.

The surrounding landscape was enhanced with new garden beds, planting, trees, and turf areas, creating an inviting and accessible open space for the local community to enjoy.
